My friend got me listening to Fleet Foxes and I really love the song White Winter Hymnal. First because of the instruments/ percussion (I usually see vocals as an instrument too) but later on I realised what that dude was actually singing. And that made me like the song even more… based on this part of the lyrics:
I was following the pack,
All swaddled in their coats
With scarves of red tied ‘round their throats
To keep their little heads
From fallin’ in the snow
Caught in the act.
I’m putting together an Iceland book from my trip there last year.
Going through the photos, I found these two together and totally forgot that my mom took a photo of me getting that shot of the Icelandic horse. Hilarious and majestic.

Chinese Fairy Tales and Fantasies

I have had the great pleasure to work with Folio Society earlier this year on this book. For those of you who are not familiar with Folio Society, they are one of the few publishers who is all about the art of book-making: from the illustrations to the printing and binding. To give you a taste, the cover of this book is fully cloth bond and luxuriously blocked with color and gold ink.
